With Delta growing and all the retirements starting next year, I don't think you will have to worry about that.

IF this TA passes, its not like the next day, all the 50 seaters will be gone. That will take some time. They can't just cut all that capacity/feed at once. Also, the new 900s, obviously will take some time to deliver. The 717s are coming at a rate of three a month starting mid 2013. Our 200 contracts expire in 2015, if they are here that long. By that time, there should be plenty of movement forward. I think it will be really interesting to see how Delta reacts if the TA is shot down.
I emailed SH and BH and asked them when the 200 contracts start expiring and the reply was 2017,18,19. If the hammer gets dropped earlier which it looks like it could it will take some time for airframes to go anyway.

I'm not voting yes on any TA until I see the numbers on the DAL side fleet reduction and its staffing effect, and I suggest every XJT pilot does the same.
Pilots will have to demand this information from the MEC. But there is no reason why lease/cpa expiration of each tail shouldn't be open knowledge.

I believe it is open, no one asks. Email anyone of the 2 clowns, SH or CT, I'm sure they can break it down.

It's not open if you have to email one of two clowns. Open would be the attrition data, or the performance data, or the extension and draft data. If they want it to be open, they would list all 400+ aircraft by tail number and the date they expire in chronological order right next to all the other unsolicited information they give us. Otherwise we will all keep getting surprised when DAL decides not to renew the next dozen aircraft just like they recently did.

Extension and draft data is available every day in the flight ops page on xjet. Com... Performance is as well..
My guess is delta will take as many 200 contracts and swap for 900s as they can. They are not dumb enough to sit on aircraft leases with no production . Pinnacle is in BK and probably a little easier to dump the lease. Skywest inc can also finace airframes. As far as the ERJ vs Crj side, unical guys want to tighten up scope probably worse than bigD. We are one company now so no matter what happens on either side it will effect us all..

Exactly my point! All this other information freely given to us without having to email one of two clowns. But not aircraft lease expirations.

As for being one company and things affecting us all, that won't happen on a practical matter until or IF we get SLI.

I don't know where I got the 2015 then. Thought someone told me that. Thanks for clearing that up. And yes, it will take sometime for the airframes to go away. Hopefully by then, they will be a lot of movement forward.
