That was true last week. Now it could be a long time before a TA.

You only go with planes if they are sold directly to another airline. SkyWest Inc. Just has to sell the planes to a bank or Embraer and that separates us from the planes. Then SkyWest or any other airline just has to purchase the planes from the bank/Embraer. That is how Republic got the Q400s from Colgan.

What is this guy smoking? The only place the planes are going is to Kingman, Arizona. The CPA was with Continental. No more Continental, no more CPA. Vapor!
Actually, the CPA survived the name change. I've posted the relevant sections of the CPA that said so.

The language is intended to take pilots when airplanes are transferred to skywest to do flying for UAL under the existing CPA. If the airplanes' leases expire and UAL decides to park them, then skywest can go ahead and operate them as they wish, if they wanted to. Skywest does NOT own any of those aircraft. They are owned by a bank and leased to UAL. RAH didn't have the language we have in our T&PA.

Feel good about yourself! You could be like me and many of my Comair comrades who are on their second or third regional gig. Talk about burnt out!!! At least you have a good schedule!

Is it just me or did anyone else not get the warm and comfy feeling reading the e-mail from the union?

May as well just say no and get full pay to the last day, and stop the bleeding.
My understanding is that last time JA met with the ASA and XJT MEC's, in Las Vegas I believe, he actually mentioned that combining all three wasn't off the table.

I didn't catch a warm comfy feeling for sure. I figured they're just communicating to let everyone know what the facts are and where we're at. A lot of folks would scream bloody murder if they stayed silent considering talks broke down, so this is their way of saying they're there and waiting on the Company.
