What's the Latest at ASA/Expressjet?

Airline pilots should refrain from doing a lot of things in public. Yet we still do. There's morons everywhere, get over it.

Absolutely, but if this guy had any time in the military himself, he certainly wouldn't be making such comments. It just shows the arrogance and self centered attitude that some people have.
"Why should I pay tax's after flying around in an air conditioned jet to fund the people that have suffered unbelievable conditions and seen many of their comrades injured or killed?"
A professional pilot in uniform would refrain from making such comments in public.

Let me give you some advice. Do not go to the ERJ side. Go to the CRJ only. Why? We are about to TA a contract here soon and then vote for it. More than likely it will not pass, not because of the CRJ side, because the ERJ side will shoot it down. When this happens, and it will happen, the company will keep us both separated and they will start the long process of transferring aircraft to the CRJ side and re hiring pilots on the bottom of the CRJ seniority number. You will be better off on the CRJ side. The ERJ side ,should they vote this upcoming TA down, is going to suffer greatly as a result.

The ERJ side has a better contract and they have more base options than what we have on the CRJ side. On the CRJ the bases that you can pick from (depending on the company needs) are: ATL, DFW, DTW, and IAD. Good luck and congratulations.

Yes they do have a very good contract. Unfortunately, this contract is the reason for the company going under. They were months away from going out of business until ASA brought them. Now they are being asked for concessions. Jerry is already regretting buying them and is giving them one last shot of redemption. This upcoming vote will be watched very closely and what I posted is very accurate. You ERJ guys can mock all you want but the fact is this is reality.
