And it's not working. Like I stated, I am not casting blame upon anyone. However, facts are facts.

Good grief, another pilot who thinks he knows what is going on at HQ.

Dude, neither you or I have a clue about what is happening behind those closed doors. You have succumbed to the Inc/Jerry Kool-aid and are carrying his torch to the inter-webs. Good for you.

Whether or not XJT is making or losing money is not known by any of us lowly line pilots. Those folks at Inc headquarters can make either side look like hero's or zero's. Just because Jerry and the Board say we are losing money doesn't mean we actually are. Open your eyes, man. The boys at Inc and F & H are masters of deception and will do whatever they think is necessary to subjugate that unruly entity called Expressjet.

We just drive the bus. Stop thinking you know what's going on and focus on what you do best. The less you worry about what Jerry and the boys are doing the happier you'll be.

Don't you know, it's always the employees' job to make sure the company makes a profit by giving back whenever asked to do so. Every Skywest pilot, fa, and ground crew knows this is simply part of their job. How else could a company ever make a profit? When Inc. undercut to get the United contracts, we were supposed to take a 16% cut that we never took, to equal Skywest pilots' compensation. So it is very simple. We are at fault. XJT pilots are the cause of the failure. Of course that is it. Could not be any other explanation.

If your business is losing money, you don't throw more money at it just to make the pilots happy in a feel good moment. You have to make tough choices to help reduce the loss and right the ship. Nobody is hoping you guys are all out of a job, nobody is hoping that you guys get stapled to the bottom of our seniority list. But we can no longer tolerate the excessive losses that are attributed to the L-XJ side of the operation. There are no good solutions or no answers that will make everyone happy, but the losses can't be sustained.
And I believe that its statements like your original post that makes many EV pilots look negatively upon your pilot group. Your original post comes off as arrogant and gleeful of our possible wind down.

And I also believe that most (including myself) have NO desire to start over at OO as a new FO. Therefore I believe that if the intent is to wind down EV, then OO will have a very difficult time finding pilots to fill the void.

As previously stated, I also have no desire to do this job for a penny less. Make us all one list (which I know you all hate and I really have no desire for being an OO employee either). Then show me that we as ONE, I repeat O N E airline cannot turn a profit. Then (and only then) will i consider any concessions. PERIOD.

Kind of.. They bid the same price as SkyWest does.. No point in putting in a higher bid for XJT knowing you already have a lower bid in... Then yes if they get the flying its a "know loss" at XJT.. Im guessing a plan B is set in place and maybe will get a glimpse on thursday during the call.

Actually, there is tons of blame to go around. Just look towards the CEO of ExpressJet airlines for whom to blame.

Unless Inc agrees to a single list...You said you would do it for less in that case. Funny, you attack Skywest pilots for doing it for less, but you would do it for less as a a Skywest pilot yourself...

Yes because that'll probably be the only way to stop them from coming back again for more concessions. It gets rid of the intra-corporation whipsaw. There is no point in agreeing in concessions if you leave the mechanism for them to be able to ask for more concessions again. This isn't rocket science.
