That was a weak comeback Putzeys. And it IS said with two syllables by our senior pilots from south Georgia. "Ayyy Ceeee". But yes, trot out a joke I made on the pipe 3 years ago because you can't rebut anything else I've said with facts.

Tell me, why is your MEC stalling negotiations? If they have authorization/mandate/consensus to vote in MOU 32, they have no reason to keep stalling negotiations...

I simply cannot wrap my mind around the entitlement mentality of Generation Me. You'll only go work for a regional flying "heavy" RJs. Then proceed to start telling people off for calling you out on it.

Do you guys realize how many new hires we've had terminated before they put in a year for things like refusing to show up for IOE because they didn't get the base they wanted, raising hell because they didn't get the aircraft they wanted, calling in sick repeatedly on probation, salling in sick and jumpseating/non reving on probation, telling off instructors/check airmen, etc...

This so called "pilot shortage" has made newhires of the participation trophy generation think the airlines owe them a job. That the airlines need them more than they need the airlines. It's astounding.
Another 3.5 striper in the making for you captn tony

Man, you just can't take an inside joke that probably no one other than you and I would get. I even put I little winky face on that post. Can you ever just keep calm?

Anyway, I don't know why you insist on asking me questions about the XJT MEC as if I'm a rep. All I know is that we made it known to them that we are not interested in work rule change MOUs unless there are absolutely no give backs, or it's just overwhelmingly in favor of the pilots, like the CMT LOA. So they unanimously rejected MOU 31. Other than that, they have the blessing to pass any MOU that clarifies existing language or codifies current practice, like MOU 32 does. You know, the things that MOUs are actually meant for? As for negotiations, make up your mind. First you accuse the XJT MEC of stalling when in fact there are at least three very good reasons why they are doing their due diligence. Then you said they changed their minds since now they are meeting with the company in May. But today you say they are stalling. So which is it?

Those who know me well, know the answer to that is no.

So serious question... is there anything good, at all, coming in the near future (6 months or so) for the pilots of XJT? Upgrades, more aircraft, hiring, management changes, better schedules, better relationship with scheduling? Anything to cling to?

According to the latest JetStream, new hires on both sides for May and June, 6 CRJ upgrades for May, 12 ERJ upgrades for May and 24 for June, IIRC.

There you go again, changing the goal posts. First you were accusing the XJT MEC of stalling because they wouldn't agree to a meeting in May (although you still refuse to answer my question on whether the NMB appointed mediator will be at this meeting). Now that apparently they have, you say you'll me know. You can't have it both ways. Typically, you are all over the place when you can't admit you are wrong. Continue believing that Acey is one syllable.

There are a few upgrades and hiring in the next two months. There are absolutely no new/replacement aircraft. There is some new Skywest guy who is now vp of maintenance. Nothing to cling on to, IMO.

At least the new VP of Mx is not Brad! I keep getting confused on all the updates from Brad. Which one!?
