The better question is WHY would you go to PSA, Mesa, Republic, Endeavor, GoJet, Great Lakes, etc..

Maybe the idea of not sitting reserve for well over a year and upgrading sometime this decade sound attractive to some ppl. I know, that's just crazy

You do realize that some of us have spent upwards of 3 years on reserve. 6-12 months is not that bad considering everything.

I never said 6-12 months is bad or good. I just stated a fact, thats all. FYI some of my friends in other regionals get a line within 1-3 months out of training.

One quick look at the XJT fleet plan over the next couple years and you quickly will notice an eye watering reduction of aircraft.
Good luck on getting a line, especially if you get placed on the CRJ side!
