They're assigning you a base to determine classes?

I just talked to an FO that was just now able to hold DTW after 1.5 years. Seems to be a popular base for new hires. Very low chance of holding DTW initially.

What I'm talking about specifically is our CEO pitting one set of his employees against another set of his employees while simultaneously giving himself thousands of shares of stock and asking us to take pay cuts. All in order to subsidize the cost of two management teams and their staff, the cost of two infrastructures, processes, systems, departments, two of EVERYTHING. Just to perpetuate this immoral business model so that he can do it to us again the next round. THAT'S the immoral whipsaw business model I'm referring to. One in which I did NOT sign up for when I applied to work here. So while I'm here, I'll will (among many other things) "sit on here and complain."

Do you honestly endorse that horse $hit?

Only a dozen of CHQ's 145 were operating under UAX. The rest were for AAG.

Please find a new job Luis. You may actually be the most toxic person at this company. Thank god you are just a line pilot now. Unfortunately, we're still seeing this attitude from your reps. It is going to get very ugly on the ERJ side this fall if things don't change. This SkyWest hate isn't doing you guys any favors.
I'm working on new job prospects, thanks. But like you said, I'm just a line pilot. You however are on the negotiating committee. My opinion is just mine. You however actually work for your MEC and come on here and state how the XJT MEC is stalling negotiations for better SLI and now you say that the XJT MEC has bad attitudes. So who has more toxicity?

Anyway, we all know what's gonna happen. What do you think we were voting in when we voted NO? We voted for the "static" fleet plan. Nothing has changed since that vote. All 145s are being parked. Best case scenario is the XRs survive. Big deal, we all know about it, nothing new.

By the way, I stand behind what I said. Our CEO is running an immoral business model. If there is any hate, it's his hate for us as people who are just trying to make an honest living. He is trying to make his off of ours.

You're either going to show up in IAH or ATL on the first day. IAH is ERJ, ATL is CRJ. I'm not totally sure how they're specifically assigning it to people after they're accepted. I'm sure they ask during the interview what you prefer. Just understand if you show in IAH, you will have 0% chance of DTW.

They asked me which equipment I wanted at the interview. I'm in the May 19th ERJ class in IAH. From what I understand, you bid for bases when you show up for class, and you can only bid for bases in the equipment you are on. So, if you are in class in IAH, you are on the ERJ and can not bid for ATL, DTW or DFW.

Gimme a break. Dropping your trip and then picking it back up at 200% is moral? Honest? *** ever. Get over yourself.

And as far as toxic.... Your MEC purposefully leaking information to you because they knew it would be put on web boards is no less inflammatory. Shoes on the other foot. How ya like it now?

No, that is not moral. If people are doing that, it's wrong and against our contract anyway. I don't believe it anyways since they don't give out personal drops since Skywest bought us. But even if it is true, it doesn't make it right for our CEO or anyone to pit his employees against each other so that he can enrich himself! Two wrongs never make a right. There is no moral equivalents here.

As for your accusation, show me anything I've written here or anywhere else that either wasn't an opinion or public knowledge. I am not in a position of any kind within my union saying that the other MEC is stalling in order to gain some sort of SLI advantage or saying that the other MEC has bad attitudes. How is that not more inflammatory than something that some line pilot says? He is the one who will have to work with the XJT MEC and NC, not me. I don't see how him saying these things, in the position he is now in, helps anyone. This is all on Will, not me. Trust me, I'm my own person and I speak MY mind. I have absolutely no problem telling anyone in their face, including my MEC who has rolled over in the past to put us in this situation, anything I've ever written here and that includes JA himself. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to speak with him in the right setting. But I won't expect anything other than excuses and rationalizations, just like before.

I personally find it hilarious that some people in positions of power think they can act totally unprofessional behind closed doors, and not expect it to get out. Then they send their internet trolls to make ad hominem attacks when it gets publicized. Hopefully they will treat their positions with seriousness and sobriety going forward. I'll have no problem working with people who act like professionals. I will treat children like children.

There you go again. You aren't professional enough to speak with them behind those closed doors about these concerns you have with them. Instead, presumably, you stay quite and then come on here and throw out personal attacks for the peanut gallery to read and expect everyone to just say, ok?

One thing to keep in mind now that you are in your position of power, just because your colleagues don't agree with you, it doesn't mean they are against you. We all, as professionals, understand or should understand that each MEC has a fiduciary responsibility to their pilots they represent first, as the line pilots have directed them with their concerns. It's not personal. But you make it personal when you come on here and let it out, as you say, under the guise that they have nefarious motives.

Yeah, such as you leaking a letter from the smartpref morons on fi.com? Geez you're a broken record and do more damage to your pilot group every time you post. So thank you for helping us out.
