If XJET isn't working for Inc., I guess you don't have to ride our coat tails anymore but thanks for your concern.

But now Brad basically works for Chip and I've been told the atmosphere between the two is very different.

A couple of months ago Brad Rich was basically shown the door for failure to get XJET in line with costs, Chip is not going to make the same mistake.

2 weeks ago upper training managers from XJET were at the SkyWest hangar to get fully briefed on the EMB-175 training program.

I suspect contract negotiations will include the new airplane and sizable concessions or XJET as is known today will disappear.

SkyWest Inc. wants and needs a firm plan going forward and Chip has said directly to me, verbatim, "XJET isn't working".

Good Luck Gentleman, the thousands of coat tailing SkyWest pilots are counting on you!
Well we aren't taking concessions. Xjt might not be working but it sure as heck isn't the pilots fault.

They already have pay rates set for large RJs. That (and PBS) should be concession enough.

The ERJ side will either take concessions or be furloughed. Some people will be OK with the latter, some not so much. Stay in touch with your reps.

How will taking concessions stop this airline from shrinking? 83%+ are ok with the consequences of not accepting concessions.

Because we can't attract enough applicants with the pay and work rules currently offered, so if we lower... wait...

Concessions is an open statement. The ERJ guys are saying that PBS is a concession, only because they want the ability to intentionally bid high credit trips that conflict with vacation and/or training, which will be dropped and pay protected.

While I agree that it is nice, I don't think that should be able to be done. Maybe it's just my work ethic, but I believe you should work to be paid, not get paid not to work.
