Old guy with a limp in the crew lounge in ATL said the same thing Sunday night, so it must be true. He also said we were getting 175s. He also said something about Delta wanting to buy us. You know, if you hear it in the crew lounge in person it's got to be true! (Yes, this was my weak attempt at sarcasm, although he did say those things).

I love flying with "that guy." The real trick is to keep asking him questions until he either enters into circular logic or counters his own argument. I'd rather have him argue with himself than me argue with him. It's easier and more fun for me.

They have been losing 200's for a long time. You are late to the party.

Why is the pbs issue back to square one. It wasn't the reason why we voted down the TA, atleast I don't remember it being so. I thought it was a good compromise given the long history of bickering about it before. LXjt tries pbs for given time till they can prove their other system is better if not they're stuck with pbs. Smh why are back to the drawing board on this?

This isn't the best place to find correct answers. You'll get a hundred different answers and then rumors kick in. You should contact your rep to find out what's going on.

I know there is a lot more to it, and I would really love it if we could all get great pay raises and keep great benefits, but in the regional world, when you have lots of other airlines that have lower paying contracts and worse QOL provisions, you have to look at the end result. Happy with what you have until they shut it down or remove enough of the no voters through attrition and cuts to get a yes on a TA. Or figure out what you would be happy with taking some cuts on. It is obviously very hard to take any kind of cut and each individual has different career expectations.
There will be other job opportunitys! The end of XJT isn't the end of the world! I'll move on.

You sound like a true professional, even your spelling is top notch.
Maybe you don't have kids or a family or responsibilities other than your own. When you have others that rely on you, your thinking changes a bit.

Your ignorance, terrible attitude, and childish remarks are pretty pathetic. If this is a meaningless job to you, please quit, you are just a number and most certainly will not be missed.

When you have others that rely on you, you don't but all your eggs in the xjt basket. Another way to look at it is, I have others who depend on what I get paid now and my QOL (days off), so don't go making this place worse for me by forcing concessions.

Seriously though, if you didn't have this as your only egg basket, how would you feel about concessions? That really is the way we should all think. Those are your true convictions. But it is easier for those of us who have a plan b.
