Looks like a good amount of check airman openings on ERJ side, and a few on CRJ200 side.

Probably because those guys are getting hired. They need those guys for any possible new hires and upgrades.

That must be on the ASA side. We don't have an "F" area of section 7 on the XJT side. Also, I don't see how they can withhold vacation just because you called in sick. If you are sick..you are sick.

I don't know how it is state by state, but in California vacation is considered "earned income" and therefore cannot be forfeited in any way.

Airlines are not bound by state laws.
