Are there any other places in the contract that specifically reference resignation policy. I'm not looking to pull anything over, I just don't want to get screwed over some tiny little gotcha. I found the section 7 vaca reference. Do you have to work on your last day or can you bid the week off up until?

ERJ Sec 8.G.5
"A pilot who resigns and provides the Company with 2 weeks notice or retires will be paid for all accrued vacation."
CRJ Sec 7.F.4
"A pilot who resigns with two (2) weeks notice, retires, or is furloughed, and the estates of deceased pilots will be paid for unused earned and accrued vacation at his hourly rate at the time of such event. A pilot who is discharged for just cause will be paid for unused earned vacation at his hourly rate at the time of such event. A pilot who gives two (2) weeks notice of resignation will be paid for unused earned and accrued vacation provided that he completes his schedule as it existed on the date of notice and further provided that he uses sick leave on no more than one day during the first thirteen (13) days of the two (2) week period. A pilot who gives less than two (2) weeks notice of resignation or who uses sick leave on his last scheduled assignment of the two (2) week period will not be paid for accrued vacation."
Good luck guys!

Does anyone have 2 buddy passes I can have untill my 1 year anniversary in April and I'll give them back to you. And of course I'll pay all taxes and fees involved.
Please PM me if you can help.

This is not correct. They are bound by state labor laws for where they have employees based. That's in addition to federal labor laws.
For example, when we had an ONT and LAX base, the company at first refused me the use of my sick time for the illness of my child. Once I refereed the California Kin care law to our MEC attorney, he wrote a letter to the company making them aware of the law. The MEC issued an email explaining the benefit to us. Afterward, the company issued a memo stating the entitlement for California based employees only.

Wasn't aware of that law. It looks like the new version of that law effective next year, specifically exempts RLA employees:

Point being that if a state has a labor law that doesn't exclude certain employees, then the employer has to abide by that entitlement for its employees based in such states.
This is what the HR department does, or is supposed to do, track all the applicable state laws. You can see on xjt.com all the laws that apply. I don't remember exactly where to navigate to it but it's there.

Not that I agree....but federal law always supersedes state law....Lost that one 150 years ago. There exemptions for transportation workers.....
