The EFB LOA is out. I'm not quite sure if I'm fond of the reimbursement bit should one leave the company. I would think the device if in good condition should be able to be given back at no cost to the pilot. (I suppose that applies if you sell it back but the onus remains with the pilot to find a buyer). Glad to see the process in the final stretch though, everyone especially commuters will welcome the reprieve I'm sure.

With the way they have it worded, I think I'm ok with it. Lets say the company claims you owe $350, but Gazelle.com only says $250. You pay the company $250, and then Gazelle.com will give you $250 for yours. You don't need to find a buyer, unless you want to go through eBay or craigslist.

No you did not. You scoffed at the idea that each side keep what they have by grandfathering the erj guys. But you are hung up on your neighbor having it just a bit better than you.
I'm all for you guys getting everything we have that is good and vice versa. If that cannot happen because management refuses to increase pilot labor cost, then what other alternative is there than that we each keep what we have? But nope, you get all hurt about that.
You are changing your story now. I'm the one who said we should keep what he have by grandfathering the ERJ guys but you didn't like that. We talked about getting the best of both contracts but that may not be possible. So the only alternative is to have two separate rules.
I'm all for a 3 way merger and still am. Remember I'm the one who coined the term One List or NOTHING. But the fact is that the ERJ MEC caved in that. But yeah, I rather stay separate if the alternative is that we only merge the ASA/xjt list leaving Skywest out AND taking concessions. It's not hypocritical at all.
Lastly, I'm not talking about two separate contracts. You need to think outside the box. There would be rules for the ERJ aircraft and rules for the other aircraft. This is not rocket science here.

Am I entitled? Damn straight! I and all the rest of us have been busting our asses everyday for years for this company. Getting dicked around, furloughed, and whatever else you can think of. I've been working for this company longer than any other LXJT pilot. Not to say you don't deserve yours. After all the **** they've put us through, you bet your ass I want what we deserve. To say I'm entitled to compensation on your dime I find insulting. We work our asses off just like you. So don't compare me to some welfare recipient who sits around and reaps the benefits off others hard work.

I did scoff at the idea of two separate work rules because I think it hurts us. But hey, who am I to tell you guys what's best for you? But if that's how it has to be then fine. I want a big fat signing bonus. That's exactly what I said before. I'm not changing my story. If we can't be brought up to your level, but you get to have all these great things, then ****ing right I want to be compensated for that. What does it bother you if we get a signing bonus? Its not your money. If we can't get anything better then what we have now so you can keep your precious outliers, I want to see the money. In the words of, well you, what's the problem?

And none of what they discussed was new information. All the lease returns are known quantities and Chip seemed quite pleased with the performance of the ERJ side. They aren't breaking even yet but they aren't the cash drain they used to be.
I can tell be your tone you hate that side of the house so why don't you get in touch with Chip, Jerry, et.al and convince them to get rid of them.
Remember they play chess and you play checkers.
