I mean this as a serious statement. Is there some kind of significant attrition that I'm not aware of? All I have noticed is that I move backwards mostly and that reserve in Atlanta is super lengthy. Am I missing something?

Each month, once the lines are published, there are dozens of trips left in open time that consume most of the available reserves. We are in no way properly staffed!

Just so you know, Trips displayed in open time do not directly correspond to the amount of reserves to cover said trips!!! I am a senior nap reservist, and have already had 2 "off days" moved for reserve coverage. Us reservists are the only ones that can see the daily reserve list, and let me tell you!; we are super short on the CRJ side in ATL! For example; it's now October 10th, and guess how many reserves are available on a non-holiday week day for tomorrow!? 4. Yes there are only 4 reserves available today to cover sick calls, mis-connects, and ready reserve! With over 300 ATL F.O.'s, there are 4 of us who are expected to cover the schedule! It has been this way for over 6 months.

EFBs soon too. Any guesses on what hardware? The update says they are in final negotiations with vendors so it can't be iPads because Apple doesn't negotiate I'm guessing we will use the upcoming windows slate

I here ya! Hopefully the situation is the same for CAs and we can get a good amount of upgrades

Heard in SkyWest recurrent recently that we're in final negotiations with Lufthansa to use their charts on the iPad. We're already using their FMS database. I'm told that we can customize their charts with our info, something Jepp told us to pound sand about.
The source also said that we haven't hammered out the details on the iPad distribution (discount to buy our own, company issued, or installed). I honestly believe they are coming within my SkyWest lifetime.
