On a side note, I do think the fact that we've waited a week now would indicate that the MEC does plan on passing it on to us.
The MEC does know what’s in it. They are going to deliberate on passing it on to the pilots or sending back to the NC. Do you talk to your rep?

That sounds a little fishy... The MEC isn't looking at it but your rep is? Then there's a push to not believe rumors. That's a pretty disorganized way to run things. If that's remotely true it'd be an easy no vote, but just to clarify, everyone here benefits from retirement increases and I'm one of the younger guys here. My two main complaints in the survey were Scope because of Atlas being on our ramp and retirement.

One 777 Captain just posted on JF that Delta PBS is designed to maximize days worked and minimize pay. He couldn’t be more wrong and has no idea how PBS works.
Yeah there’s another guy who compares our current flying at FDX to passenger regional flying from 20 years ago. (ASA) He has no idea what he’s talking about.

Where did you get that the "MEC isn't looking at it but your rep is?" I am not following you on that one! I think I clearly stated the MEC had seen the TA'd sections before a full TA was reached. And to your point about everyone will benefit from retirement increases . . .well, not everyone started here as one of the "younger guys" like you. Some came here after retiring from the military or after getting stuck at the regionals during the lost decade, etc. The rep I spoke with wouldn't give me any specific numbers, but I imagine it had something to do with not putting in over 25 years of service.

The no B fund improvements will be shocking based on other rumors I have repeatedly heard and the tone and messaging of PM on latest video update. I’m skeptical your rep shared all that info with you.

I believe Atlas is no longer operating for us. It ended this month.

I guess I'm a little confused with the process... It makes zero sense to me to have the MEC vote on the TA after the NC settles with the company unless it's mostly ceremonial. The MEC should be aware of what's going on each meeting and already know that they approve of it when it's finished. The MEC should be actively involved in decision making with the NC. If the NC isn't doing what the MEC approves of then fire them more than a year ago. Then to take a week to decide what to vote on a TA that you've already seen? The entire process makes zero sense if the MEC has been kept properly informed on what's in it. I guess that's why I assumed the MEC hadn't seen it.

I understand why the vote wasn't last Monday. But if you know what's in it, then the vote should've been shortly after and it should be an easy yes after letting the NC go two years through a process that according to you they were aware of. It makes the MEC look disorganized. After all, we were clearly getting to the end of the process and last Monday's announcement wasn't a surprise.

It is a matter of fact that is what was shared with me, along with several others. However, I sincerely hope I was given bad information!

Lol are you that naive? They ain't playing I've got a secret cause they're gonna sprinkle gold dust on our shoulders. Seriously you need to wake up. Or better yet you continue to wait and talk smack about the folks ringing the alarm and I'll be happy to come back here and get your hot take once we finally get a look at OUR contract. But then of course it will be too late. I've seen this movie before. You have too and I didn't like the ending then and I damn sure ain't waiting for it now.

Saw them in MEM yesterday. So it hasn’t ended quite yet.
