You’re pretty light on time, but this proves that Frontier loves to hire people who show a genuine desire to be here. I think you definitely made that point clear to them. Well done and good luck!

Nice. One of the lucky few though. Average TT in classes is still 3500-4000 so i hear.

Actual attrition numbers for last month was 6.

The company is going to hire additional pilots for planned attrition. 320 new hires planned for next year to ensure a net gain of at least 240 pilots.

No plan on increasing first year pay yet

IMO, the only thing that would indicate an actual staffing crisis is if the company exercises this clause. Since it hasn't happened yet, I hesitate to believe any rumors.

Definitely. We have no problems until that happens.

The problem we have is that the company still doesn’t get that we need to be faster at hiring. Good candidates have multiple offers. If a candidate has to wait 3-5 weeks from the online assessment to interview and then another 3-4 months for a class date, they are taking the first class date available. I’ve have multiple friends that have had NK and F9 interviews and take the first class date, which is typically NK.

That will happen when you let good people (not pilots) leave…It’s hard enough to keep up fully staffed.

several in the nov class interviewed only two weeks before class. Now I’m sure part of that reason is the class was small and they wanted to get a few more in. Only 20 in the clss. But there aren’t any in the pool right now from what I hear.

Quick interview to class times might help us not lose people to other LCCs, but won’t stop people from bailing in their first year or two for DAL/UAL.

I’m a junior CA and nearly left recently.
