Yes. I know people in both classes.

The company is finally figuring out what we all knew. If you pay they will show up. We’re overstaffed based on the number of block hours right now. That’s the reason for shrinking classes. If you’ve been hired enjoy the extra time off, your not losing seniority numbers. For those that got hosed due to putting in notice with employers I understand your frustration and inconvenience. We’re used to that.

This the kind of stuff that makes it hard for me to recommend Frontier to anyone. The treatment of newhires is just one small example of the larger problem.

Management sees ZERO benefit to a happy workforce and acts accordingly. Similar to dirtbag regionals, it is management belief that they can threaten and intimidate the workforce into doing everything necessary to operate an airline.

Arrogance and ignorance demonstrated at all levels of management. Employees are treated and viewed by management as necessary evil. It’s hard to verbalize the myriad of ways this attitude manifests itself in day-to-day operations.

We recently received a pay raise, but that’s about all that’s changed around here. Most people at most career-type jobs can derive a bit of personal pride, personal self-worth, and even a bit of pride for their employer. None of this occurs as an employee at Frontier. It leaves a hole in my life that I do my best to fill with pride and contentment in family, friends, hobbies, personal development, etc. I’d love to be proud to work for Fromtier, but that’s just not possible.

Anyone coming here needs to understand this concept. Yes, the crews you fly with are mostly good, but they’re probably mostly good at any carrier. Make sure you’re ok, I mean really ok, with being treated poorly by your employer before you apply to Frontier.

+1 to the club that had to give notice and now finds themselves in the "pool." Any word on how many, or if there even is a May class? Anyone get a firmish email for May 6?

Don’t dismiss this guys views until you’ve walked in his shoes. You’ve got a lot to learn.

That happens after 10 plus years of sub standard pay and benefits. You don’t get over it after 2 months. Not to mention I completely agree with him. This is not exactly a labor friendly company. It’s go fly, get paid and forget about work.

I see no problem there. Pride doesn’t pay bills in my experience.

I just took a look at the open time pot.

I can see why they are slowing the hiring. There's 1 pilot worth of open time for the next 22 days. In my base and seat at least.
