Hiring / training

I'm in the same exact spot. Submitted all docs and did the drug/background test and fingerprints last week. I just told NK I wouldn't be attending my class date next week, so I'm hoping to get a class date soon! Kind of disappointed with the speed/lack of communication.

Good question, mostly it came down to bases. I am looking at a commute to ATL for NK or F9, but it looked like F9 would be quicker to hold it. Ultimately I decided moving back to, and being based in PHL will be my best option. There were other considerations like training pay, 1st year pay, and the fact that once B6 & NK merge anyone very junior is going to lose seniority. Hopefully its the right decision but only time will tell.

Haha! Same Here, As Well, Too ;-)
You are not alone. :-)
I know that the wait is going to be so with it but I have never been so glued to my phone in my life! And I played Pokémon. Haha!
I had my compliance (fingerprinting, logbook verification, etc.) four weeks ago. Recruiter and I figured February class date at that time.
Haven’t heard back after three weeks so I checked in with my recruiter via email, but no reply. Hit up the F9 People Support email and they referred me back to my recruiter. I can imagine they are extremely busy and just trying to spread out the workload.
More time for Pokémon I guess? Lol

This is a GREAT post! It is very informative and I appreciate it very much. Thanks for sharing this information with all of us. I'm just waiting on my compliance to come back clear so I can get started. Getting close to three weeks now. I feel like a person with a mental disorder; checking my email every five minutes! I cannot wait to get going at Frontier.

What's weird is I know people who interviewed with me, did all the compliance stuff same time as I did, and they have gotten the Feb. class date email while I just hear crickets... I sent an email last week saying thanks for the interview etc, and letting them know I wanted in the Feb class, but got no response. I'm kind of disappointed in the recruitment teams lack of communication, especially considering how positive the interview experience was.

There are some other people who had issues in background checks, etc. who didnt hear much but once they were straightened out, they got their class date offerings. I would email and ask if there is anything specific holding it up if its been a week or so.

Everything was completed last week and the background check showed all clear since that time too.

It's really hit or miss with the recruitment/compliance team.

Sure seems that way. I'm not impressed. I understand we are in unprecedented times of hiring and growth, but its these folks sole jobs to hire pilots. It's one thing to wait weeks or months to hear back after applying, but after I get a CJO I would expect a reasonable level of communication. Oh well.
