This is negotiating 101 for Indigo - delay delay delay until just before a strike (cooling off period) or shortly after an actual strike.

If you expect it to come earlier than that you will be disappointed.

Reminds me of Delay, Deny, Defend which got a little attention recently.

You do what you want with that knowledge.
might want to loosen that MAGA hat a few clicks. Seems it’s squeezing your brain a bit too much.

so is our union ever going to address the BOTS issue? It’s been over a year since they said it was about to be taken care of and implemented. Gotta love the communication this team gives. Sure it’s in our docs as a policy, but that does not fix the issue.

Tired of seeing the same people who are picking up trips when they’re in the air, and yes I double checked to see them on flight radar to make sure it was during a duty period.

It’s one thing to say we are “working on it”, but to ghost the pilot group for over a year when you say it’s right around the corner is honestly absurd.

File a dispute. Ask for whatever the trip was worth as a remedy. It’s teed up perfectly for a win if you’ve already done the research and that’s true. That should help move the ball forward and take the same amount of time as your post about it. You now have the new policy doc as additional ammo in your dispute.

The union (which is us) needs documents to make arguments. This allows them to pull data. They just don’t watch open time constantly to see if someone has a bot.

the thing is, that’s a discipline issue, the union is there to protect us from (company) discipline. They don’t discipline us. So basically it’s up to the company to make the move. Eventually they will, as soon as it cost 💲 them something. As long as trips are getting picked up the company is happy. Barry loves it. We have the lowest number of crew per plane than any other airline. Barry is laughing all the way to the bank.

I agree with this. It's not the unions job to discipline us.

If you are absolutely sure that someone picked up a premium while they were flying, and you want to snitch, try the chief pilots office, not the union. I guess you need to think about if you want to do that or not, but the union isn't the way to do it.

Hopefully the union can address the issue in the next contract but for now, I don't know what I'm you expect them to do.
