Go when you meet the mins.

I'd like to get to know the recruiters and let them know I'm interested, but it's a lot of money, so I'm torn.

This is a tough one. It would be interesting to get Broflyer's opinion. In one respect it certainly couldn't hurt to attend one without the mins, but I'm thinking if you did this, you'd end up having to go twice. The people who do the fairs change from time to time as well, and you run the risk of being forgotten. I'm with the last poster. I think you'd be better served to bring your 'A' game once, when you have everything you need to get an invite that day. But this is just my opinion; I would hate to steer you wrong; seek out some more advice on this!

I went to talk with them when I was just short of the mins. They were offering interview dates but could not offer me one because of my time. I have since passed the mins and applied multiple times online but no luck. Looks like I'll need to go to another job fair to get their attention again.

Anyone from recent classes or interviews hear anything about he Domiciles etc? I think they said it would be announced soon. Just curious.

I interviewed a week and a half ago. They said within 2 weeks there should be an announcement of where the base will be. Most thought it would be MCO but nobody really knew anything for sure.

Thanks for the info. Sulk is right. The standard answer! New hires and interviews get the most current info which is why I asked. Ciao

Most new hire classes are going to DEN and able to transfer to ORD within 2 or 3 months. New domicile will be announced soon. Lots of rumors about where so I won't speculate on that.

Management said they would announce by the summer. They just didn't say summer of what year!

We've gone through about 7 rumored bases in the last year... Vegas, Phoenix, Cleveland, Dulles, Philly/Trenton, Atlanta, and Orlando... It only stands to reason that the next base will be Boston or Anchorage... Believe it when you see it...
