Honestly I agree with everyone on here. I just finished up with training this week and I was very impressed. I also wanted things to look over prior to training and was talked out of it by people on here. They will get you ready and just enjoy your time not studying. Study what they tell you to when you get there and you will do just fine. Congrats and welcome to Frontier.

Jetalc. As a rare poster, I generally lurk on here to keep updated with the industry. Your posts always irk me. As an F9 Captain, which it says you are, it appears you are the one who's classless. I couldn't help but say something. Looking back through your posts through the years, it seems like every conversation you're in is an argument or you're promoting Lori Clark's services, and bashing everyone else. I'm not sure if you have some type of "in" there with her, but it appears you do. I know nothing about her services, but I'm sure she's fantastic, list most of the prep companies.

It seems to me that Centerline tries to give informative posts throughout APC and tried to answer someone's question casually. I used them a few years ago and was hired at two legacy airlines. My college roommate worked with them and is at jetBlue. Many pilots I work with now used them for prep and were nothing but pleased. I can tell you one thing, I received nothing but First Class service from them. They always answered the phone, were sending out fresh gouges, fixed my resume, looked over my apps, and everything in between. Also, they are extremely good guys and I truly enjoyed getting to know the two consultants I worked with. I have no idea how many clients they prep, but it seemed to me they were quite large and busy. Maybe they fooled me, but just my personal experience was that I felt they truly cared about my success. They also called me the night before both my interviews to check up. I volunteered at OBAP in DC this year and it was nice catching up with one of the guys who prepped me. Bash all you want Jetalc, but I personally won't recommend anyone else. But what do I know? I'm a lowly legacy FO lurking :/

Default F9, record profits

for all of those joining f9, welcome. F9 has a great group of individuals. My worst day here beats any best day at my last airline.

For the current f9 guys, we are making record profits
Frontier Airlines launches to fifth-most profitable airline in the U.S. - The Denver Post

With the 321s joining the fleet, margins will be even higher. Next contract we need to get what we deserve for our hard work.
I know it's a random post, but the negotiations are coming up and we must be armed with facts when it comes to profits and pay numbers.

Relentless -
First of all, yes, I am opinionated. Newsflash. Classless? Hmmm...you're entitled to your opinion, and not sure if I should bite on the obvious flamebait. Opinions are what this board is about.

I do ardently defend those that I think are doing the right thing, and just as much try to call out those that I think are wrongfully boasting in order to inflate their checkbooks. Does that constitute "arguing on every post" or simply being passionate about certain issues. I will not apologize for caring about certain things.

Glad you had a good experience with Centerline - happy that you so ardently defend something you believe....hold it - isn't that a wrong thing to do?

One of the many topics I do defend is Lori Clark's prep services. That defense is not without merit, and I know firsthand that she works very hard to maintain high standards in her work. She has helped me, and I know of quite a few people that I fly with who she has also helped. I will spare you some sort of advertisement for her company - her reputation can stand on its own, especially since she has been doing this gig probably longer than the good folks at Centerline have been flying. Doesn't make them bad people - I have never suggested that. I don't know them, and happy that they did the right thing by you.

So, you used them "a few years ago?" How long have they been around again? Something in your recollection smells a bit fishy.

Are you asking me to "step off" and keep my opinion to myself? Please just put me on your ignore list - I'm not going anywhere.

Now, so much for this thread hijack - back to something that might be relevant to Frontier Hiring? Unless maybe some other Centerline employee/buddy/fanboy wants to "put me in my place".

March 2016 is when FAPA can make a RLA Section 6 opener.

The Railway Labor Act

§ 156. Procedure in changing rates of pay, rules, and working conditions Carriers and representatives of the employees shall give at least thirty days' written notice of an intended change in agreements affecting rates of pay, rules, or working conditions, and the time and place for the beginning of conference between the representatives of the parties interested in such intended changes shall be agreed upon within ten days after the receipt of said notice, and said time shall be within the thirty days provided in the notice. In every case where such notice of intended change has been given, or conferences are being held with reference thereto, or the services of the Mediation Board have been requested by either party, or said Board has proffered its services, rates of pay, rules, or working conditions shall not be altered by the carrier until the controversy has been finally acted upon, as required by section 155 of this title, by the Mediation Board, unless a period of ten days has elapsed after termination of conferences without request for or proffer of the services of the Mediation Board.
