1st year is $37. Sad story with how much money this company is supposedly making.

That seems absurd in today's hiring environment.

It's sad. You can make more first year flying a 50 seat RJ than flying 230 pax on a 321. Just think of it as investing in seniority. Pay will go up. It's the when that's in question.

That email from FAPA had proposed interim pay rates retroactive to 4/1/16 that seemed ok but not great... Now the company wants to delay the meeting so they can discuss other areas amongst themselves... Basically that means they'll give us the rates if we concede our vacation and basically all of our scheduling flexibility... We'll have a new contract in 4 just in time to be the lowest paid again... Super cool!!

Correct, but I provided the rates for our 03/01/17 snap back, which is what was asked. You are correct on our current rates however. Also the rates that our NC is asking for aren't unreasonable; appropriate I'd say, and would help attract new QUALIFIED Applicants. Management seems confused on the intent of the provision in LOA 67 however, or more accurately, are intentionally ignoring the language that states "In the event the reinstatement of pay in A.2. is effective prior to January 1, 2017, the company and FAPA agree to negotiate IN GOOD FAITH for further upward pay adjustments based on business conditions". Conditions are EXCELLENT! These are pay increase discussions completely separate from contract negotiations. The company has chosen (from what I read in NC updates, just a normal line guy here), to evaluate our proposal, and counter after evaluating some of our "soft pay credit" rules! They aren't supposed to be doing this at all; that's what the contract negotiations are for!!! The intent of this provision, from what I gather, and I could be wrong, is that the pilot group made a sacrifice, and if the company is healthy again, then they need to respect that, and compensate us accordingly! These are the rates our NC is asking for in the pay rate adjustment talks, NOT negotiations (I'm sure those will be higher)...

ALL 3 bases are attainable right away, or within 1-2 months out of initial for the foreseeable future.
