What DOHs are holding the most Junior Relief Lines now in each base? Also, lets hear monthly upgrade predictions for next year. The Seniority List shows no movement...which kinda plays into my point that life at F9 (minus the pay) really isn't as awful as most on here would make it out to be. Aaaand, its been crickets on the line...any good schoolhouse rumors lately? Anyone heard the rumor of a major gate swap with American in ORD...and does that possibly mean additional gates for F9???
May 2016 Hire....DEN line holder for December (lots of people senior to me bid for a reserve line....I suppose because of Christmas and New Year's) I have close to 50 junior to me.

Are rumors of F9 shrinking the DEN base true?
Where are new hires being sent? How long to hold DEN? Will they pay for parking in DEN if you have to commute to ord until you can hold DEN? If F9 gets bought out, what are the chances you think they would close/pull out of DEN?

Any new F9 fo's regretting their move to F9?

Haven't heard anything about DEN shrinking. Right now it can't grow either but I wouldn't expect much change there. To the best of my knowledge new hires are holding Denver out of training. If you want MCO expect it to take a VSA bid or two, ORD a few of them. If we're bought out it'll depend on who bought who and what the existing route structures are, too many variables to tell.

I don't regret my move. I left a regional, I'm happier here but I realize how much work we have ahead of us to get a competitive CBA so keep that in mind.

Why can't DEN grow? Sounds like you're at least saying it doesn't look like DEN is going Anywhere?

Lack of gate availability. We gave up a few gates earlier this year and everything else is pretty full. I've not heard of DEN going anyplace, it is still our largest domicile by quite a bit.

What made F9 attractive to leave your regional?

Regionals have mastered the small farm animal treatment of pilots. I never enjoyed that.

Do your homework and decide if F9 is right for Y-O-U. Ignore the drama and focus on the facts.

Like SpankysLadder said, I grew very tired of the regional treatment over several years. Frontier, while far from perfect offered a chance to get out of that rat race and potentially settle down for the long haul.

Like others, including myself, have stated, our overall compensation package lags behind other Airbus operators in just about every section. That isn't news to anyone on the seniority list here but anyone with some foresight knows it will improve. Only you can tell if you can make this place work or not. We have a great pilot group, the flying is, for the most part, easy and there is a lot of potential here. Ignore the trolls. If you decide to pull the trigger just be ready to stand with us while we go through the bargaining process. There are a few of us here that will try and give you no b.s. answers to your questions, so fire away.
