One thing that continues to surprise me is how many "older" guys think our current contract is good. The vacation is good. But besides that there's a lot of crap. That worries me for negotiations.

I can't believe anyone thinks we have a good contract. It's awful. We have some senior people who are so scared of a strike or going out of business, that I think they've convinced themselves that things are good here. Those people have their heads up their asses. It'll get better, but it's gonna take a fight.

Yes. Part of LOA 67. It was a minor upward adjustment referrred to as a "snapback" to get us back to pre-concessionary rates. We're still the lowest paid airbus pilots in the US so it wasn't much. Roughly $2/hr.

Mine was $6.00. Now I'm only $79.00 an hour from what I'd actually vote yes on.

PART of LOA67? Which part? Is that all or will there be more? I guess I missed the email explaining the update...

Here's a novel idea...read LOA 67. Better yet, know your contract. Spoon feeding is for those under 1.

The negotiator email was laughable. We are going to be bottom again, probably after 3 years. Anyone who sees a quick end to the negotiations needs to get off the crack rock!
