Yes. If you itemize deductions, you'd then you'd write off the cost of your new iPad so the tax impact should be very close to zero. As far as I know, if you don't itemize, you'll end up paying taxes on the stipend.

Default Interview question

Heard they will start asking applicants at interviews how they would feel about crossing a picket line if the Pilots strike , or worded "would you be willing to cross a picket line" ?

Anyone else hear this ?

I would think any candidate saying "yes" to that would get a big thumbs down from the hiring committee that is made up of our own pilots.

This is a big no-no. Federal regulations prohibit asking about union membership, opinions, intent, etc. Big, big trouble if a Company even remotely bases hiring decisions or even asks about this stuff. Right up there with asking about religious affiliation.

Of course we're talking about Frontier here, so following rules isn't necessarily automatic.

Just interviewed in August. No questions about crossing a picket line.

Default Denver domicile

Any forecast about September class assignments? Denver? Or all to Vegas? Any insight would be appreciated.

I think most if not all new hires will go to Vegas

I've asked for a hotel room in domicile a couple of times and I was given one.
