I'm at a regional that has no flow. Not a bad place just time to move on. I will not settle and move lateral. I've missed every major movement in this industry. 9/11 and Colgan accidents were setbacks for me and other people around my age group. Flow works for guys in in their mid 20's to mid 30's I'm neither was flying corporate almost the last 16 years before joining my current employer. I have read the information about frontier and I understand. I know a lot of you are mad because you are below industry standard and have not gotten payback for what you put in the company. I'm looking ahead and Frontier is not going out of business, they will have to retain their pilots whether there is growth or not. You will get a descent contract. This industry is about timing. This is a pilot's market and our time so I'm betting on Frontier this round. Sorry if I am optimistic. Just got a good feeling.

Let me first address your comment about being "mad" that we are below industry standard. We are below industry standard because of a bankruptcy contract and an agreement with the current owners to essentially save Frontier, and allow them to invest and transform the company. They did that. We are "mad" because they reneged on their end of the deal, as proved by the ruling in the arbitration against them in LOA67. They are making an incredible amount of money and have no respect or compassion towards the employees that keep the money rolling in. They are gambling by investing capital in this company, and expect a big payoff. Well, those of us who work here have invested our lives and our families futures in this company and expect the same. I feel the later is much more important, but the management and this company value money over all else. They hate their employees and consider them a necessary evil and a drain on their profits.
I apologize for not getting back to your PM so I'll address some of your questions in the open. Our travel benefits are free travel on Frontier for family. You get buddy passes and if you need it we have a discounted purchase program for positve space for your pass riders. I think we have ZED with Alaska, spirit, and like air Lithuania or some African airlines. None with any of the big 3 as you put it. The closest we come to Boston is Providence, RI, or Islip. I wouldn't believe anything coming out of the Chief Pilot's mouth, he's been sitting in the negotiations on the company's side and is therefore suspect. There may or may not be more bases opening up. This industry is full of carrots at the end of a stick. The easiest thing to do is create some sort of optimism for pilots to grab onto to keep them going. Our recruitment has put several carrots out hoping to attract people just hoping to get out of their regionals. The 2 year upgrade myth, huge growth and new bases everywhere are some of them. Make sure you go to Frontier Pilot Facts website and go through all of the topics at the top before spending the time and money interviewing here. I did some research of your posts and saw that you're seeking out info for not only us but also places like Norwegian. My advice is to aim higher. You are going to end up plucking the low hanging fruit of this industry as I did, and spend the rest of your time trying to move on. Keep the optimism, if you decide to show up for the interview and get hired, you're gonna need it.

Not for a companion, most worthless flight benefits I've ever seen. Unless you live in or near a base, you hardly are able to use the limited options F9 provides. Smoke and mirrors when pass bureau talks.
