If you can’t afford a hotel or crash pad during training you can just set up a little campsite inside the sim building. Just don’t get caught. Recently a new hire was sleeping in their car and eventually set up a little quiet area inside the building. They put up boxes to conceal their little fort. Unfortunately when mgmt found out they were dismissed.
If you decide to come to this airline make sure you have plenty of savings to live off of. Or if you’re really that broke you can always stay at the Salvation Army downtown or one of the other homeless shelters Denver has to offer. #winningNOT

Hopefully that person and the next (place worth working at) recruiter have a good laugh over it, if it's true.Crashpads aren't really my thing, I didn't particularly care for Airbnb even though the person was cool, the house was very clean, and it was pretty structured. I never felt like I could totally relax and unplug though. Eventually went to a hotel that cost me a fortune. Thankfully, I did have savings. I can't imagine going into debt AND discomfort for this level of company and compensation. I hope it changes as much as the next person, but there ain't anything remotely worth coming here for right now.

When the pool of new hires begins to dry up, BB will throw these in the dirt lot across from the old headquarters. Along with some pot o potties.

Then payroll deduct the housing costs.
It’s good to immediately indoctrinate the new pilots to our corporate culture.

OK, I still find this hard to believe. On both ends. First, kudos on the money saving idea. I’ve heard of three to a room, but never sleep in the car, and sim building. You my friend, were probably the one person I would say, “I get it bro, I understand why you came here.” Second, how could these penny pinching A-holes let someone like that go. Sounds like upper management’s wet dream. A pilot so desperate to work here they’re willing to do anything. “500 more of those please!” If this doesn’t show you what you’re in for, I don’t know what will. You want to come and work for this bunch of shysters, then just be prepared to take their front in your rear whenever they get the chance.
WTF (welcome to Front-in-rear)
100% READY AND WAITING FOR THE NMB TO STRIKE!!!

NEW HIRES DO NOT GET HOTELS PAID FOR!
Frontierpilotfacts.com
It was asked a few pages back if it would be held against a new hire for coming here. Let me ask prospective new hires some rhetorical questions. Why would our union put out the above website? Why would our union tell current F9 pilots about upcoming hiring events for other airlines? Yet, you are still thinking of coming here. Our own union is telling us we should seriously go out and start looking for new employment. Think about that, yet you still want to come here?We have two shots at getting a market rate contract. (We are paid closer to 50% less than everyone else now, not 40%.). Either the NMB releases us into a cooling off period, or New Hires stop coming here. That’s it! So if you think you want to be here, great! But ask yourself how you’d feel if you’d been through two bankruptcy restructurings, had LOA 67 that was to return us to industry average pay rates, Had an neutral arbitrator rule in the union’s favor, yet we are still having to bend over and grab our ankles. Hell, even Brian Bedford has said we deserve a pay raise. So how would you feel when new hires continue to show up for this sh!tshow? If F9 can’t fill classes, guess what, we now have some leverage over the company. But, I understand your current job is awful, or what ever reason you come up with. Well this job blows, and new hires coming here only keeps it that way even longer. But I’m sure you will be welcomed by everyone!

Dave Siegal the former Frontier CEO also said that the Frontier pilots should get a raise as well!
