Yeah, just give it time ... I think by the time I get back from work tonight (all day trips out of CHO here at 9L ... sucks) this thread will be locked ... we'll see if I'm right. That'll be around 2330 EST

Uhh... Yes it's completely different. RAH and Midwest are legitimate airlines. They are doing the flying temporarily so the nice folks at Midwest actually have an airline to return to next year instead of getting their pink slips for indefinitely. RAH pilots fly for DAL,AA,UA,Midwest. The cases would be the same if Midwest formed an altergo and called it RAHJETS and hired street pilots, that is in the same ballpark as gojets. Gojets was formed for the sole purpose to circumvent TSA pilots right to fly the airplanes. You can kick and scream and say things like TSA pilots stabbed themselves, there is absolutely no justification to GOJet and you know it. You can blame the TSA pilots all you want but at the end of the day it is you who is(will be) working at an pseduoscab alterego airline.

You are right about the initial certification of GoJet, but you still haven't moved on to 2009. For some reason, you're stuck in 2005.

I think the naivete goes back to you. If you don't learn from the mistakes you make in the past you are doomed to repeat them. But we have had this discussion and you have your view and we have ours.

Wrong doesn't magically become right just because time has passed. If it was wrong in 2005 it's STILL
wrong in 2009.

You are absolutely correct. You learn from the mistakes and you address them so they don't repeat again: at Aloha, we added a paragraph to our scope clause that addressed what happened with TSA/GoJet, and then some. What's your MEC doing to address this?
Where we disagree is how you deal with people at GoJet. Persecuting pilots at GoJet is not addressing the past and applying lessons learned. The intent of people that went to GoJet in 2005 pre-ruling is quite a bit different than those that went there in 2008 or 2009 - 3 years after the ruling. That's my whole point...
