I think that both sides on this thread are missing the real issue. GoJet pilots agreed to fly a 70 seat jet for 50 seat pay. Regardless, of what union they belong to (or not), this kind of practice drives down compensation industry wide. Not just regioinals and majors, but everywhere aircraft are flown. (ala Skybus)

While this may have been true originally, you need to look at the payscales now. They are right on par with most other regionals pay for 70 seaters

Wonder if that was becauase they were "raising the bar" or becuase they helped block the ability of other airlines to do just that....

That's 100% wrong. UA gave the flying to TSA, therefore to TSA pilots. You are comparing apples to oranges. You're comparing TSA VS AE when you should be comparing a legitimate pilot group vs an alter ego pilot group. AE and TSA are legitimate places that serve AA and old TWA. GOJet is an alterego that serves Hulas, get it?

and when did this term pseudo-scab come about?

pseudo-scab:
function: noun
etymology - american, st. louis
date: 21st century
: term created by 600 hr pilots.

* shouldnt' some of you be in recess?
Rather than being a wannabe looking from the outside, tell us when your class date is with your very first airline so that we can take your posts seriously.

TSA is setting up that strike center, good luck to you if they actually do strike.

I feel just fine and have never had any problem with anyone saying anything to my face. You and others like you don't scare, intimidate or threaten me in the least tough guy. I came in after the NMB ruling. If the TSA pilot group still is so bitter they should have gone though the courts to APPEAL the NMB decision. I haven't seen them even begin the paperwork on this at all.

Why do I need luck if they strike?? I have many friends over at TSA. I will stop by and give 'em some coffee if it comes to that. But, keep throwing sand and stomping your feet like a 3 year old.

Hey Purple,

Tell me why TSA doesn't operate any 70 seat jets? Because Hulas doesn't want them?

Because then you'll officially be a scab who's flying at an altergo. Again, doesn't matter what happened in 05. I'm sick of people like you who are blaming the TSA pilot group for trying to raise the bar in this industry.
