good comeback. my very first airline indeed. i haven't done any real flying at all in my career. ever. having boxes in the back means that it's a much much much easier job. ask anybody. they'll tell you how easy flying freight alone in the middle of the night really is.

I feel just fine and have never had any problem with anyone saying anything to my face. You and others like you don't scare, intimidate or threaten me in the least tough guy. I came in after the NMB ruling. If the TSA pilot group still is so bitter they should have gone though the courts to APPEAL the NMB decision. I haven't seen them even begin the paperwork on this at all.
Why do I need luck if they strike?? I have many friends over at TSA. I will stop by and give 'em some coffee if it comes to that. But, keep throwing sand and stomping your feet like a 3 year old.

funny............... I never have a problem discussing my feelings with a GOJET employee, it's more of a conversation on their thought process of what lead them down the road to choose GJ
The response is always the same, they needed a job blah blah blah. I don't go out of my way and challenge GoJet guys to an all out brawl, I do ask them why GoJets? How do you feel about what happened at TSA etc.......

There is NO denying that GoJets guys low balled the TSA pilot group. TSA pilots demanded pay raises for larger airplanes(What a novel concept
) and some crossed to the dark side for quick upgrades. Others just didn't have the decency to stick it out with their TSA Brothers and Sisters, and fight for the rest of the industry to increase wages and QOL. TSA got the 700s, and that helped lower the bar across the industry. Those who went to and those who go to GoJets know exactly what they are getting into. Whether it wrinkles their career it yet to be seen.

Curious....and this is a serious question.......what's it like to be part of a PLUMBER'S union as an airline pilot?
Also, what does it feel like to stab other airline pilots in the back? (If you don't have an answer to the last question, I can refer you to a list of names that might provide some insight) The last question wasn't as serious as the first one.......but still has merit.

There you have it... that's placing the blame where it belongs - the first TSA guys that went to GoJet. After the NMB decision was handed down, and nothing from ALPA to even remotely suggest an appeal, how are 2008/2009 hires at GoJet lowballing the industry any more so than any other regional airline pilot?
2) Pilots who go to GoJetS are helping to justify management's decision to create an alter-ego airline. If GoJetS couldn't get any pilots, management would have to come up with another solution to staff the United flying. That solution would hopefully include bringing back TSA pilots from furlough.
3) Every GoJetS pilot is to blame no matter what their hire date is.
The main issue isn't even necessarily that they're lowballing the industry. It's that they're knowingly screwing over another pilot group that tried to better the industry.

Ah, copperhead, I see you are furloughed EMB-145 FO, from TSA I presume?
I can see your arguments are self-serving. Allow me to illustrate:
1) Pilots that go to <insert your favorite regional> know the story <they're replacing a mainline pilot by working for poverty level wages>.
2) Pilots who go to <insert your favorite regional> are helping justify management's decision to create an alter-ego airline. <Is there anything "regional" about IAH - MSP?> If <insert your favorite regional here> couldn't get any pilots, management would have to come up with another solution to staff the "feeder" flying. That solution would hopefully include bringing back MAINLINE pilots from furlough.
3) Every REGIONAL pilot is the blame no matter what their hire date is.
Tell me... how is GoJet (no S at the end) screwing over your pilot group? By their sheer existence? Tell me... how is this any different from any other regional airline in the grand scheme of things?
Now, I was fully on your side in 2005, but after the decision was handed down, you either have to fight it, or accept it. You chose to accept it by refusing to appeal. Can't have your cake and eat it too. Face it, you gambled and you lost.
I don't mean to sound crass, but those are the facts. Anything I see coming from you guys is pure emotional rhetoric with literally no substance. I'm yet to see what are you trying to do to fix your situation in light of the decision. All I see is aimless whining and futile intimidation attempts at anyone asking for information on GoJet.

Hey, I'll bite on this one. I am not impressed with this Union at all. But, that is my opinion. There really aren't any "usefull" resources for airline operation that I can see.
To answer your second question. I didn't stab anyone in the back. They (TSA) drove the knife in themselves with the MEC doing alot of the pushing and twisting. I will ask the question again.......why didn't the TSA pilot group appeal the NMB decision?? You and others are extremely quick to bash me but refuse to answer this simple question.
