I'm not sure what this board allows exactly, but I assume name calling is not acceptable. I guess that means I don't really have much to say. I know that I won't be seeing a couple people in this thread on any airplane I'm flying. Nobody is going to be forgetting what happened with TSA and GJ. If my prediction is correct, TSA will be gone soon and you're gonna have a lot of angry pilots out there that will be sure to spread the word more than it already has been spread. Disgusting.

How are they paying for the housing? Also how much are you being paid while in training? I have a friend who is interested in going there. May be someone who has been there could tell me where new hires stay.

I'm pretty sure that THAT is information neither the company NOR the new hires want made public...

I believe you receive 60 hours guarantee while in training and I believe that some stay at Pear Tree Inn across from the airport but I could be incorrect. To my knowledge, they do NOT pay for the housing during training.

Hmmm lets see close to 5 MILLION people out of work.....I doubt people care about any Jumpseat Wars you might try to spur.. Right now people are just going to get in where they fit in...Its easy to sit and talk stuff when you dont have mouths to feed or you are about to loose your house Hmmmmm lets see If I was about to loose my house or my kids are going hungry and GO JETS offered me a Job .. I WOULD TAKE it... I dont see people like you giving me Money to feed my family or Morgage.. everyones situation is different I dont suppose you have kids that Have to have Health insurance do you..

But then again Like I said before their is NO unity amongst Pilots.
No I dont work for GoJets But I can understand why people would go there if I remember right wasnt ASA recommending GoJets to their Furloughed pilots if they are such Scabs why would ASA do that.

So were those original GoJet pilots representing UNITY amongst pilots? You contradict your self. Somehow we should unify as pilots and call GoJets pilots our brothers when they blatently went against a group of their own? Real pilot UNITY would be to boycott such a company that undermines our bottom line as pilots and NOT work for them. Do you see your contradiction?????

You people need to get over your stupid petty schoolyard mentality and realize that this feud needs to be put to rest. This kind of disdain does not happen outside of message boards. I know several GJ pilots who have NEVER had a problem commuting on either mainline or regional carriers. Also they have never felt any bad blood except by the young 20somethings that have "entitlement" syndrome. You all sure talk big on here, but hardly anyone except TSA pilots have the balls to tell someone they cant ride in their jumpseat cause they hate their company.

Get over yourselves. I realize its not the best way to start a company, but we are in a full blown recession, and no matter what you say its stupid to try to get a job working at McDonalds to pay the bills when we all paid 30-70k for our training just to throw it away right now. No I dont work for GJ, I actually worked for TSA. Get over yourselves.
