I'd like to know what training is like. I understand it's 7 weeks long. How long is basic indoc and at which point does the group split up from everybody in basic indoc to seniority-based equipment awards and training with those on the same equipment? I heard we are paid for training(nice!)- will we receive pay during our training or at the end?
I'm excited to start!

After indoc, the class will split up into equipment and it usually last another two weeks.(i think) then you're scheduled for oral, then into the sim with your partner for another two weeks. Sim schedule time is based on seniority once again.
You get paid the moment you step in that class room, I believe you will get your id and password for the company website. im sure others will add on to the list.
enjoy ground and flight training

indoc is a week.
systems in 3 weeks.
sims is 2 to 2 1/2 weeks.
IOE is 2 weeks.
new hires get 64 hours a month gurantee and 16 hr/day per diem.
training sucks. there's no sugar coating it. you'll be bright eye'd and bushy tail for about 3 days then the reality will set in.
once your spirit is broken things get easier.

IOE is longer than just two weeks. It's when ever your instructor says your competent enough to fly the airplane. The biggest challange, putting it on the ground (unless you've flown something larger than a King Air).
Take as much time that is allowed to complete IOE. No need to rush.

Thanks for all the info, guys! My current a/c is 29,000lbs and has systems which seemed to be more intricate than the think tank at MI5 so hopefully that will help with the upcoming training. :-)
I'm really happy to be joining Eagle

To some extent. I rather finish IOE pretty quick while everything is fresh on my mind, than to sit waiting to get done. They checkairman wont sign off till HE feels you are ready. Just ask the 300hr wonders AE hired few years ago. Some of them did close to 100hrs of IOE.
