Mgmt should've allowed FO's already on property to bid the CRJ first. I know what the contract says, but there isn't much movement on the Embraer. Just doesn't seem fair......rant over.

I forgot how much some people read into posts by other members. I was simply implying that if given the opportunity by either airline I would need to look at the pros and cons of each because they both offer something completely different and it can change anyone's career path.

See above.

I didn't intend on coming off as an arrogant buffoon. I have a tendency to count my eggs before they hatch. I would like to know which one, if either, I would plan on going to if offered a job at both. If Colgan offers a job they will likely put me in a class within a month, if eagle does the same it may be over 2 months before I start class. I would really like to know that I have made the right decision prior to choosing Colgan and regretting the fact that eagle wanted me as well. Just thinking ahead of the airplane.

Thank you for the well wishes and I hope I will impress them enough to be offered a position.

So does anyone know what the flow charts is saying for the next couple of months? Did they fill all the new CRJ spots?

Interviewed a couple of days ago and made it through the other end!

Got my Pre-Offer, and awaiting my medical. I am still stoked!

Some numbers for ya:

22 new CRJs on the way, and the company crews an average of 5 CAs and 5 FOs per aircraft

That means 110 crews total for the new deliveries.

There are currently 74 CAs who have been awarded the NCC position.

They have filled 30 NFC (New York LGA, First Officer, CRJ) positions.

Looks like about 36 more NCC slots to be filled and 80 NFC slots. Should be a good amount of hiring left- these vacancies should carry hiring until the end of the year.
