Anyone get a Phase III from the June18-22nd group?

I remember seeing Phase III guys/gals on the 21st... Do not know when they did Phase I or II... Didn't get a chance to ask them.

Thrust......The retired HAL gentlemen from the HR group interview definitely said to bring logbooks to Phase III. If I remember, you had an interview the week of the 11th-15th? Are you heading to Phase III?

I haven't received the nod for phase III yet. Keeping my fingers crossed and checking my phone every 30 sec! :D

Ha, same here.....:) BTW, do you know if they call for Phase III or e-mail? I assumed they e-mailed? Anyone from your group hear anything? It's been pretty quiet for these last 4 days:D

Far as I know nobody has heard anything as of yet. I'm pretty sure its an email for phase III....I get my email sent right to my phone ;)

you get your phase 3 invite via email. Sometimes they will call you a couple days before the scheduled day they're running phase 3 when notified candidates are not able to make it there. I interviewed two weeks ago then got the call for phase 3 a few days later for phase 3 last week then got a class date for early july. The week I interviewed, I did phase 1. I didn't have to redo phase 2. I did phase 2 last year. I've interviewed several times before, but finally got in this year. Don't give up, there's a lot of reasons people don't get hired, but persistence will pay off.

How quickly did they notify you of a classs date after Phase III? Congrats man!!


If you didn't have to do Phase II again, does that mean you think you did ok on the tests etc... Or did you have the option to retake the tests for higher scores?? I'm not real clear on how much the tests weigh in on the overall interview. I was hoping Phase I was a larger factor in the process..

So how many trips to HNL does one have to make to interview? For those without j/s, this could be a costly expense.

I was invited for a phase 3 five days after I did phase 1. I really don't know why I didn't have to do phase 2 again. I've heard guys who were called 1 r 2 days before phase 3. I guess it depends on how many can make it to phase 3.

I think the way it works now is Phase I, happens Mon-Wed, and everyone does phase II on the Thursday. Then you go home. Phase III is later, how long is anyones guess. So at the very least, its 2 times you will have to fly out to Hawaii.

Did phase 1 and 2 on the 20th and 21st. So far I haven't heard from anybody that I am in touch with (about 10 people from the group) that has gotten a Phase 3 yet. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

I got an email last friday for Phase I and II interview on Jul 10 and 12. See you on the 12th.

FWIW:

Phase 1 & 2 completed during the week of June 25th and no acceptance email as of yet. I'm sure I won't be seeing anything until after 'guys' from the weeks of the 11th and 18th start getting word, so hanging tight until then.

Did you mean to say "if you don't get the no thanks letter you are still under consideration.."

OR are they NOT sending out "no thanks" letters at all for this group of interviewees? ( I think I read that those who applied but never received an interview did eventually get a "no thanks" letter shortly before they re-opened the app. window this time)

I think I'd rather have the "no thanks" letter, if I happen to fall towards the bottom of the pool of interviewees, instead of wondering for a year...:D

calls for July 16 class went out last night for those who did phase 3 last week.

How long after Phase 1/2 did emails start arriving for Phase 3 invites? This is the 4th of July Holiday week so I wouldn't expect much activity, if any? Thanks for all the updates my brothers!

I don't know how much weight I'd put into those no thanks emails. I interviewed last fall, received a no thanks email late April or early May I think, then received an invite for phase 3 a few weeks after that. From what I've read earlier on this thread, seems like their system sometimes accidentally (?) sends out these random messages.

Exactly. Someone employed there told me he's worked there for 5 years and got one of those emails. Don't worry too much about them. And if you get a negative email, don't think you're out either. I know someone else that got one of those and got an interview the next week...

So does Hawaiian traditionally send you either an invite for phase III email or a "thanks but no thanks" email after phase II? Its just that many airlines, if they decide not to hire you, you just never hear from them again. It seems either way Hawaiian WILL be in contact, no? :confused:

Damn pualani platinum flight saver e-mails!!!!! Check my e-mail and all I see is something from Hawaiian airlines!!! I had that "yes" feeling for about 1.4 seconds..... Then I realized it was an advertisement about a good deal for a flight to Japan. :(

No word yet. :(

Apprently they combine all the folks from phase I/II interviews and place them in a pool. Depending on how many points you acquired during your interviews, you are ranked in that pool. They pick the folks with the highest ranks out of the pool first for phase III so depending on rank, you may swim for a short period or for quite some time. :cool:

All I can say is that the whole process seems a bit strange to me. I'm not sure where one would score "points" or lose them, other than the standardized tests they gave.
