Southwest has better rates and NO regional. And NO domestic codeshare. Not sure about international codeshare, but if they have any, it's limited.

And better rates...

You might not LIKE that these things are industry standard, but they are. You've refused to educate yourself, and have taken your anger out on the union.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.
Wow, what a well reasoned fact based response. How about you come up with examples of where I am wrong for once. You are like debating a ghost since you arguments are made of vapor.

Go look up the spirit poll from theirs a few months ago. It was 70-30 against.

Guess what the final vote was. 70-30 for.

If I was betting, my money would be on this thing passing with flying colors.

Horrible argument. Since pilots don't vote the way you want them to we're a discount? Why are you trying to sway every one to vote the way you see it. We can't read and vote for ourselves? Are you the almighty one?

If you are not volunteering, going to your meetings and reading all available information...You might be giving a little for a lot?

Many others may believe they are giving a lot more for you and in their opinion a market rate contract?

I have thoroughly read the TA. It is full of legalistic loopholes that give the company advantages (e.g. section 1 has ARBITRATION!!! - remember 3A). The pay rates are abysmal unless you're willing to work harder and jump higher. In order to make your pay rates approach Southwest or any legacy carrier, you'll have to work significantly harder or be in the top 10% of seniority to get the most productive trips. Furthermore, it does not address many predictable scenarios, which is the hallmark of a horrible contract.

J train, southerner, and all of the other apologists and discount pilots here seem to have alterior motives for supporting this TA. A rational person can read this TA to see that there are many red flags. This really needs to go back to the drawing board with different negotiators and people who can actually write contracts. Sorry to say this TA is an embarrassment.

They can try to vilify you for not volunteering for ALPA positions or whatever other false argument they want to make, but the point is that you have paid a lot of money through dues to get results, and results have not been delivered by this TA.

This communique is for entertainment purposes only. It does not implicitly or explicitly acknowledge employment with any air carrier nor is any relationship implied. This communique does not represent the opinions or policies of ALPA or JB ALPA and does not represent the collective pilot group, ALPA, nor does it imply collective bargaining, advocacy, or workforce actions intended to disrupt operations.
