Hyperboy is correct on this one Extension pay did not go anywhere and is not going anywhere with the full roll out of the CBA. Hence making this fake news, lol!! The way we get paid on extension (EPS) pay now is how we will get paid. I got 4 pairing extensions last month on reserve from reserve days into reserve days or later in the same day. This is not changing, the section that changed has to do with a pilot not concurring to a duty time extension and that changed last year with the initial Roll out. There is a lot of ways to make make money on reserve at JB if you live in base. One can credit 100 plus a month of take home credit on reserve if one wishes.

Thanks. I’ve been looking, but can’t find what I need to to support the argument. That said, a lot of pilots are grossly misled if reserves are keeping EPS during the middle of their sequence, because those I’ve talked have all thought we are losing that except for the last day. I’ll look harder tomorrow.

We are 100% losing EPS in the middle of your pairing. It was confirmed by all sources (NC, ALPA, Crew Services, Crew Pay) It's the reason why a lot did not bid 190 upgrade in the latest yearly bid myself included. The amount you can make under the new rules vs the old rules will be significantly decreased.

Until now I’ve never agreed with so many others that you’re a management troll. You really think Endeavor’s contract was “modeled after the parent, Delta”??? If so, you need your head examined. That’s not how collective bargaining agreements work.
There is nothing in our contract that specifically allows for SCL pilots to commute in during their RAP. Nothing. Period.
Further, you were able to bid for AMs or PMs for the entire month. Not this silo garbage we have here. Everyday my times change. I knew what my entire month looked like. AND we were guaranteed an early release on the last day.
But please, keep defending our subpar contract that can’t even compete with regional reserve work rules.

Also believe for lineholders and reserves, if you’re rescheduled to get back to domicile within two hours it’s only 2 hours of EPS at 200%. After 2 hours it’s the normal 5+ hours like it is now.

Edited to make it quicker for you and hyper: start around 25.X.14.vi and go from there. Enjoy hunting in rainmaker for that mid-reserve-block EPS next month.

Correct. Some people think that gives scheduling the liberty to extend a reserve pilot after every pairing, and that’s not correct (not saying you said that). Just losing mid-pairing EPS.

Welp it took you much less time than I expected to be one of those “everything sucks” guys. I remember that attitude you showed when you asking between frontier and Jetblue. Bud looks like no job is ever going to be good enough for you. Maybe UPS calls and you’ll be happy, but I can’t already hear you saying the boxes are too square.

Reserve isn’t as bad as I thought when I heard you got the times assigned the previous day. Sounds awful but not once did I get assigned a time that was way off the time I expected due to the previous day. I got released on my last day A LOT of times. Yeah if you commute and you’re in a crashpad it sucks because it’s not very transparent when or if you’ll get called.
