Great thing to stand up to blewjet and it's most likely how I will be voting but does anyone have concern about how this could go very wrong for the profession as a whole? Arbitrator disagrees and the full NEA goes forward every airline in the US will follow suit with ignoring their scope in relation to this ruling.

I believe this as well, but that is neither here nor there. We need to take a stand against a company that thinks it can whimsically violate our CBA. A no vote signifies that we will not accept blatant disregard of our contract, then allow the arbitrator cards fall where they will.

I’m really curious as to why we should vote ‘yes’ on LOA 17? We’ve got guys leaning ‘no’, some still unsure as to why we should vote ‘no’ at all, and what COULD happen if we do vote ‘no’. Why in the hell should we vote ‘yes’?! A 3% raise; $30M distributed unequally (that we’ll all have to pay dues on); UTS—SERIOUSLY?!!
Please enlighten us ‘no’ voters.
Please enlighten us ‘no’ voters.

This is a very "special" pilot group.
My own theory is that the union and the company both know this which is why we get these laughably bad offers, that either pass or almost do.

1) He wants to rule for the company, since the NEA is clearly in everyone’s best financial interests, but on the other hand…
2) He can not rule in favor of the company, since that will set a precedent that will destroy scope everywhere.
