Hope I'm wrong, but they have a long history that informs what their SOP manual reads.

8%/2%/2%, + 50% more culture coupons. But otherwise so true... JBLU LSC SOP. And as Dr. Payne said recently, don't be surprised if LSC plays nice until after the holidays and then suddenly things slow way down again.

And that’s on our MEC if they let that happen.
We are negotiating 1 thing. Pay rates. If the company doesn’t respond with a reasonable offer at next weeks meeting then the MEC should declare a labor dispute before the December ramp up.

However:
1. Will the union do as you suggest?
2. If they declare a labor dispute, unless this pilot group has changed considerably from the last go-around, in the early MONTHS, 10-20% of the pilots will shift gears.
3. Several MONTHS later another 10-20% will start to realize they've been bamboozled and shift gears.
4. After the first year of "negotiations", another 10-20% of pilots will figure out THEY are the suckers. And LSC might see a blip on the radar.
5. After 10 years of this, Bandwagon still won't get it.
I hope I'm wrong. I hope you're right, I hope it works. This time MIGHT be different. History and experience inform my concerns and last time I checked J is still running the show...
I'm gonna have to SEE a different result to believe it...

Going just for pay now figuring to lock in QOL with a bunch of NK guys ready to hold up a JCBA to get NK work rules in two years is one thing. Ignoring needed improvements on B6 QOL for three more years before even beginning negotiations about them if the merger falls through..?
Maybe not so much.
