My data shows 2028 to break triple digits from the top half of the list.

Hate to break it to you but ALPA put them in our peer set when we started section 6. They are part of the market which makes up market rate. What management did during the PCRB reviews is irrelevant.

They also used AA and SWA. Which we have Better retirement than SWA and pay rates initially. Better 190 pay by far than AA which should have been much higher but they dragged us down.
But that doesn’t fit the narrative.

No one is saying we’re perfect. Even hyper.

But to say we’re the worst is disingenuous.

Talk about disingenuous, how's SWA's healthcare insurance? How's their average W2 for comparable block hour of flight time?

Read the W2 thread that comes out every year. We fly WAY more and W2 much less than the good companies.

Hurray for us, we're a half-step above the ULCC trash.

No WE don't. Maybe you do. Please speak for yourself instead of everyone. This is a QOL airline. You can make plenty here or drop down to zero (via the trade board). Why do you think so many stay here and not bail out cause you told them to? Why do you think so many choose to stay senior in the right seat than upgrade?

They are following the example of pilots like you here. It's got to be pretty good QOL if you decided to stay BD right?

I hope you are happy in life and not like your persona on here.

We should totally fly together.

Triple-face-palm.

The guys that respond to the W2 thread absolutely DO fly more for less W2. Hyper, you are a sample size of ONE. Every airline has guys that fly min sched or drop below guarantee. Every airline has guys that stay a LONG time in the right seat for schedule.

But, for every guy who stays senior in the right seat there is a junior W2 hero or ego hero to replace them here. Don't forget that. We, as an airline, on average, fly a metric feces-ton of block hours per pilot.

So yes, we (on average) fly more hours for less W2 than the good companies.

And........

I haven't told our guys to leave. I have never told you, or Cool, or Joe or anyone that they should leave.

And.........

My QOL is very good, BECAUSE OF MY SENIORITY! I look at most of the new "industry leading" pairings and the schedule awards of the junior pilots and get a very strong urge to vomit immediately. That a QOL airline does NOT make. Yeah, if you stay SENIOR, it can be great. But I'm not sure if you understand that it also works that way at airlines that aren't BlueJet?

And........

Lots of guys DID bail here. Many come back and say how thankful they are to have LEFT. You reply to many of those posts. Have you already forgotten?

If you knew me personally or have been around my family and friends you would get a full-on belly laugh at the thought of me being unhappy. I have a pretty exceptional life 99% of the time.

I have no issues calling out the legit BS and I think I've been pretty fair in that aspect over the years.

We are in full agreement with jb finding it's rudder and the culture. It's a bítch board and we come here to get it out. However some of the arguments here imo are baseless.
I agree with this.

We all *****, even the DL guys making $500k/yr do, but some of the stuff I've read on the JB board are ridiculous. Before coming here I read a lot of guys saying to stay at your regional because JB is awful. That sort of thing helps nobody and is deceitful in my mind. Had I stayed at my regional, I'd be on year 5 capt pay making less than I do here as a 2nd year FO. My QOL wouldn't be anywhere near what I have now either, and I may never get a call from the big 3. This job is ridiculously easy and you can work as much or as little as you want.

I also love when people say that guys should go to DL/UA/AA/FDX and we're dumb if we come here, as if we have a choice. My apps have been in for the big 3 for many years and the phone is still silent. If they call me, I'll be in the first class they offer me, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy working here, and I can make a seriously good living here. It's fine to complain but some people just way over do it. I'm never one for saying "If you don't like it, leave", because I think it's important to make our workplace as great as possible for us, but for some guys who do nothing but ***** and claim they 'miss their regionals', then maybe you really should just leave and go find happiness somewhere else.

Good Lord why would you be in the first class offered to you by DL/UA/AA/FDX?!?

Didn't you hear, we are right up there with the best of them according to Cool!
