Your 1200 TPIC might actually be the problem…they are getting burned left and right lately with new hires either finishing or in the middle of training bailing out or not even coming to training who are qualified to get into a major like you are with those qualifications.

I waited about a month for IOE on the 320. I think that was about the norm for my class. Not sure about the 190 or 220. My first trip was technically out of BOS with a BOS check airman even though I’m based in LAX. Just gotta send an email to OEScheduling and they’ll tell you yes or no.

Or maybe, just maybe, they really have aspirations of flying for a Legacy . For a multitude of reasons . Main point is that turbine PIC time isn’t stopping anyone from getting a call .

If you don't know what a Yugo is, look it up.

the difference is that our Yogo (320) rates are the same as the big three yogo rates. We just don't have a Mercedes (wide-body) in our garage. We are loosing new hires and junior pilots that want to go fly the Mercedes and/or live near one of the big three's bases. We have along way to go and pay rates are only a small part of the attraction of a destination carrier..
