All of the pay raise to the bus? I'm a 190 guy and agree that the bus should be brought up 100% without a doubt.....as well as a bump to the 190, maybe just not as dramatic. You need to stop thinking black and white, like there is $100 of company money to share and the bus gets $100 of it. It needs to be, the bus gets $100 of it, and now find me $40 more for the 190. We are making 500+ million in profit, starting hotel ventures, looking into acquisitions, buying planes with cash, tossing around millions in venture start-ups.
The just because the 190 is industry leading, and shouldn't get a raise argument is just plane stupid (pun intended). So if you work for a company and make industry leading pay, with your argument theres no point in ever negotiating. Why bother? Your industry leading, no need for a raise. That's fantastic we have the industry leading 190 pay but, there's no reason the bar shouldn't pushed higher. FUPM , and then add some more on top. Jetblue asks their pilots to go above and beyond what a lot of other carriers ask, I expect to be appreciated or it will be point A to point B and nothing more.
