I read that too, and I was tracking along those thoughts but when would the "Wet Lease" restriction apply? Republican can't have the B6 code but Envoy (wholly owned) can?

Every aircraft at Envoy, Piedmont and PSA is registered to AA which means those operations aren’t wet lease. Republic, Skywest and Mesa are wet lease.

a wet lease example would be American hiring someone like atlas to fly 767s as American on scheduled flights.

My thoughts have went from concerned a week ago, to down right horrified after reading this. The longevity of this thing is what really got me. This was supposed to help us escape the pandemic, not compromise our entire future. And ya know what, this POS is gonna pass. Watch. People are clueless. We worked so hard to get out of the regionals, and our MEC has voted to basically turn us into one. Our management is going to have a field day with negotiations after this passes. I also can’t help but get the feeling that we’re being setup for a merge. To a company that’s inevitably facing bankruptcy...while we give up the one thing that we have some control over-scope language. We are so fuqed, it’s depressing. There’s no good options for us at the bottom.
The company (JetBlue) that hired me 2 years ago emphasized their brand, the culture, core values etc etc. That’s all out the window with this agreement. I don’t know how they can ever look at us with a straight face and talk about our core values or cleaning airlines or whatever humanity inspired bullish!t that happen to be peddling that day. I don’t know what I’m missing here, but I need to hear directly from these reps via Q&A, podcast, whatever. They need to answer for this.
It’s a great job when you show up, turn left, and close the door....but this fuqing industry is brutal.

There is nothing in it for us. Call their bluff- furloughs are too expensive.
If you vote yes, you will regret it. They are preying on fears.

Do NOT underestimate this pilot group’s ability to vote against their own best interests. There’s thousands that don’t frequent forums and social media. They’re just happy to be here and they don’t even read stuff before voting. There are plenty that assume the 12-2 vote means it’s good for them. They need educated.
