Not for nothing, but our Union issues aren’t exclusive to us. United is in the process of recalling their entire MEC after rolling out that travesty of a TA. They can’t even start negotiating again until they’re all replaced. Meanwhile one regional after another making huge gains. Bizarre times we’re in.

I see several names on the latest sen list from the union that aren't here anymore. Does B6 even know how many people are leaving/left?

Only slightly more than half of our pilots disagreed.
More accurately, the MEC thought 2% was wonderful when paired with furlough protections. However, after the NO vote and surveys, they spent a year telling us they were going to take a hardline stance to negotiate a much better deal than 2%. Until they reached a TA for 3% and said it checked all the boxes from the pilot surveys.

And if you do the math, 3% is 50% more than 2%, so they really got us a 50% raise. Good job guys!

If you know your history President Polk ran on a slogan 54-40 or Fight!! To take Oregon from the British. I think our new slogan should be 20% or Strike. Yes, I know we can’t strike like that thanks Railway Labor Act but it’s catchy and makes a statement.

Checked all the boxes from the surveys that were outdated by a year and were taken in the middle of the pandemic…

Yep. Not a good reason to not get a good LOA now, but it reverses the usual RLA situation. Managem my NEEDS the JCBA. It costs them - not the pilots - money if they drag it out. It’s even worse if the NK management tries to drag out their existing CBA. There will be little left besides an order book and a lot of very disgruntled senior CAs because all of their FOS will have gone elsewhere.

We're having our own attrition fiasco at B6. We have to be approaching 40 this month, maybe more.
