Am I the only one who didn't know that AB was out and leaving? Did they announce that and I missed it?

But but but just wait until you see our reserve system!! Vote yes!!! I saw the writing on the wall with reserve, the way we utilize reserves and the way the company blatantly withholds opentime in order to use reserves is laughable.

LCR is a great thing, but in order to move days or do anything is next to impossible. As a Lineholder you are almost completely bound to your schedule if you have 4 and 5 day trips. Just another way CK and crew are hard at work for us.

yes, same here. remember the roadshows before ratification? i brought up all kinds of scenarios about reserve to the people who are now going to be in charge of negotiating the whole contract for us, and they told me that basically the company would not exploit loopholes or find other ways to screw us that weren't in the contract language, etc. every single objection i had, where i could foresee how the company would use it against us and not do what alpa was saying they would do, was shot down in this manner. they basically didn't even care about my concerns. and of course every single one of those concerns came true (plus more!).

I was with RV (negotiating chair) at Comair and we got bent over time and time again by the things that JC Lawson explained away with “the contract is vague, but they would never do that….”

So I had a great deal of faith that RV would remember his scars and he would not give JetBlue any slack when he worked out Contract 2018 and LOA 17. Key word… HAD.

And much stronger commutability ratios for pairing construction. Commutability has been destroyed recently. Even if you're not a commuter, half the airline is.
