JetBlue’s planned takeover of Spirit will give it a bigger footprint in the U.S., but destinations including Africa are part of a bigger, bolder plan — one, however, that could take several years to materialize.

Nothing new or interesting in that article. They have been talking about Western Africa and Deep South America as long as we've had the 321LR prefer in.

Well the naysayers doubted we would consistently get to LHR/LGW with it and we've had a great track record with it so far. I would think the LR would make deep South America from FLL/MIA. Hopefully the 330NEO is our next step, great for TLV and other ME destinations.

I don’t think they are longer term. At some point soon our prime airports will be gate/slot constrained and we won’t be able to add dozens of international departures without cutting a similar amount of domestic.

There will be a WB pay rate in the JCBA.

God I hope not. 4FS ... SkyWest had 737 rates in the SP.
