Does Jetblue still give its employees positive space commuting?

For now, sort of. Right now there is still positive space commuting, but you can be denied positive space commuting, when trying to book, even if there are open seats. The company will only allocate a certain number of seats up to a certain point of booking, so even if there are open seats, it doesn't mean you will get a positive space booking.

Okay cool thanks for the info. At NK we started hard and heavy in MIA but it shrunk to almost nothing. That helped thin out FLL a bit so was just curious how it was working out for JB.

It is all the same bid status for us. FLL pilots cover trips start/ending in FLL/PBI/MIA, is MIA a separate base for you guys?

This bidding and award timeline has got to change. If you’re not changing equipment requiring training then you should be able to bid and award monthly for two month in advance of award. They are running new hire classes every week. They can’t possibly award new hires based and honor seniority without holding a bid for current pilots.

No it’s a co base. But trips must end in the same city they start in.

Thats how it is for us. You could start in MIA but finish in FLL but then they have to finish it with a limo to MIA. Same with pbi and vice versa.
