I'll do much better under the tax bill.
AMT being moved up to 500k will really help a majority of dual income earners with big houses, big families, so long as they don't live in a high tax state (or have high property taxes).

A) I don’t watch Fox News, but I do file taxes and am very aware of (most of) the changes coming our way. Mostly, it will make filing much simpler since you won’t need to track any deductions (unless you make a LOT of money).

or, if a person has a lot of itemized deductions. don't assume you know everyone's personal situation. if this tax bill is helping you out, then good for you. it sure isn't helping me out.

Haven't met a unmarried pilot who was miserable yet. I'm sure there is one. You may be happy and I say congrats and well done but I knew since I was an teenager that it wasn't my gig. Sorry for the thread drift.
