Guys; don't turn this into "what if you were asked to remove blank". It was a rubber wristband. This guys a tool so just play his game and win. This battle wasn't one to fight openly. There are ways of getting justice. I hope every CAL pilot dishes on this cat.

Not! However, just a simple, "I can't do that," would be sufficient.

Well, I'll tell you this much. Some guys like to rattle the cage and me; I like to be the quiet winner.

I'm all for cancer research, but Lance is a MAJOR D-bag!

Looks like we now know who to blame for this one.

Straight from the horses mouth:

To all my fellow pilots here at Continental Airlines and especially to Lauren Barra-Berzon, I would like to extend a formal apology for the actions that took place during preflight of our scheduled flight yesterday.

I had no idea when driving to the airport yesterday the day would end up adversely affecting so many good hard working pilots at this airline.

I have a very large ripe Lemon with my name on it. How can I make Lemonade with it? If this pilot group becomes more unified and engaged at the negotiating table, then maybe something good will come out of this unfortunate event.

I'm sorry Lauren.

Fly safe.

I'm not sure this is sincere...more like he knows how hard his commute just got..I say CAL pilots still let him have it...he's just sorry his name got around.

Federal law protects speech for union organizing activities for sure. But, I thought individual union contracts are what protects union employees speech. In this case, the FOM is a contract, and if it does not say those types of wristbands or sayings are prohibited, then she has no real notice AND the company has to negotiate with the union to include that in prohibited practices. True or no?

Do you really think he uses steroids? Please provide your proof.
