Awesome.

Rhetorical question: Why would a guy who got bounced hard from his position in the MEC be supportive of a group that is antagonistic of the organization that removed him from his position?

I'm actually surprised that DPA was allowed at all on company property. ALPA is the "duly designated and authorized representative of the Flight Deck Crewmembers in the service of the Company for the purposes of the Railway Labor Act"; for them to allow a competing bargaining agent into a work area is dangerously close to a violation of the RLA.

I wonder if I could file a grievance against the company for a violation of the very first paragraph of the PWA, Section 1.A.1....
Good job there dude. Were you also on flight pay loss in the lounge, working to stop free speech and free association?

When I read that John Malone was at the lounge event to lend his personal (but not official) support to the DPA effort, I knew it wouldn't take long for the Shiznits to start blasting the former MEC chairman. The claim of "completely sold out the bottom half of the list" sounds like personal BS. Can I hear from some of the southies about Mr. Malone? What kind of an MEC chairman was he...is he an honorable fellow, etc...

Thanks,

Carl

Not in the lounge. Never been on flight pay loss.

BTW, free speech and free association effectively ends on private property. Delta Air Lines limits the exercising of free speech everyday via its social media policy, haven't seen you rail against that.....

Default ALPA Suck's

Let's face it...

ALPA Suck's.....

They haven't done Jack Crap for their member's in the last 10 years.... I like most ALPA member's was shocked when I heard they actually might have made some headway on the Crewpass issue, but now I hear it is back to being studied by the TSA what a joke.... Just more Bah Bah Bah were working on it guy's etc etc..

It's time for ALPA to produce or have the honor to step aside.........

I for one would love to hand them their walking paper's at Delta, and they can go represent Go-Jet or some other scab outfit for all I care.....

ALPA Member's deserve and should expect results for our Due's Investment.......

You can understand how I could make that error...especially given the fact that you sound like you just read the ALPA talking points fax.

Here's the part you're purposely omitting: IT WASN'T THE PROPERTY OF ALPA!!!!

As such, ALPA acted unconscionably by acting to stop free speech and free association on property that WASN'T THEIR'S!!!

Delta management had the right to do what they did, because it was Delta's property. Although it should make everyone wonder why management would fight so hard to protect the existing union. ALPA had no right whatsoever.

Absolutely revolting behavior on the part of ALPA reps on full flight pay loss. This is so shameful.

ALPA must really be concerned to put forth this kind of effort to limit free speech and free association. I wonder how ALPA feels about limiting two of the most important rights we have under the constitution.

Carl
Hi Carl,

I agree. If they have nothing to fear, why the shadowing? All they are doing is lending credibility to the competition. If the DPA is no threat, why not just ignore them completely?

Just goes to show you what I said a few weeks ago. This isn't about representing the pilots. Locally, this is about some kind of macho, BS, a-personality type tree marking. For national, it's about the dollars.

Yeah, maybe; IF it were true. But the ATL LEC Chairman has flatly denied that. He was NOT on flight pay loss.

Don't let the facts get in the way of another rant, Carl.

Any proof, or is this yet another rumor? It's amazing how you guys throw stuff out, it repeatedly gets proven as untrue, and then you just throw more stuff out..

Anyone ever check their facts before posting? Just curious.
