I would have to slightly disagree. While a high time FO won't be denied an interview(depending on focus) the current focus in on a more long term employee. Jetblue does not hope to keep you for a career, however, they would like you to stay long enough to absorb your training costs. The company is quite comfortable with turnover provided its not within the 1-3 year pilot demographic.

I think it was 3 airbus and 15 190. I'm not sure about the bases, but I do know there were a lot of JFK slots.

For every FO at a regional, there is a Captain. In most cases, Captains will have more experience.

However, it remains to be seen how many guys with all the necessary qualifications would pass up the chance to go to B6 in favor of the real Major Airlines in the months ahead. I know many "legacy qualified" regional Captains who aren't interested in B6.

And I know many current regional CAs that probably could have gone to AirTran/JetBlue in previous hiring cycles but were holding out for legacy.. To each their own, but some would be captains by now had they left..

Yeah, stay and wait it out out a regional.... what could possibly go wrong? And the "real" major airlines are definitely going to call. Its a sure thing.

Seriously, I fly with some guys who are "waiting" for FedEx, DAL etc......it's mind boggling, lol. They must not see the future of the regionals, or they are just really naive.

Got a call this morning verifying my times, background, and interest. Looking at interviewing the last week in Jan or first couple weeks in Feb.
I was told to be ready.
