How wrong you are Sir.
You obviously are not educated when it comes to the current and ongoing "process" involving a very large percentage of Pilots.
Ask around and educate yourself before you make false statements. Trust me, a few negative posters on here aren't even the tip of the iceberg.
Nice try though. Nice to hear you spoke to a few "happy go lucky, non career minded" Pilots.

Southerner may be wrong about some things but he is right in that it doesn't belong on this forum.

Those on this forum are in the minority with an opinion. Everybody is entitled to an opinion.

You guys should be aware of how poorly your attitude comes across.
I'm done with the off-topic stuff now. Back to class dates!

I'm not incorrect. I said that the people I know in person are happy there. I haven't done a scientific poll or anything. They aren't pleased with the health insurance, but otherwise they love their jobs. Since I'm on my wife's insurance, that's a non-issue for me. I understand why it is an issue for others, but it isn't a deal breaker for me.

It may be a non-issue for you, but it's a very big issue for 75% of JB pilots. I have heard the mil-specs apply the same logic (non JB insurance). In the same conversation, they'll complain about pairings ending too late to commute home. I then mention that in-domicile pilots think late releases are just fine. Everyone has an "issue."

Read the very next sentence, and you'll see that I said I understand why it is an issue for people. It just is not a deal breaker for me when it comes to my choice between taking or not taking a class date. That doesn't mean that I'm happy with the health care changes or that I don't want to improve the plans, or that I would fight to keep status quo.
You do realize that you're losing the battle for hearts and minds, right? When you guys who want to organize belittle the potential new hires for their choice to come to JetBlue, you are turning them against your cause. You should welcome the newbies. New blood could be exactly what you need in your next union drive.
